Here are a few key actions you can take after you call us:

• Use a cold compress to alleviate the pain.
• Locate your tooth, crown or filling that has fallen out.
• Rinse off the missing piece with water and try to place it back in your mouth.
• If you are unable to place it back in your mouth, put it in a clean container filled with salt water and bring it to our office. It is important that the tooth remains wet.
• If you are bleeding, find a towel and use it to apply pressure on the affected area.
• Have someone else drive you to our office.
